On May 13 and 14, at the Aula magna "Dini" of the School of Engineering, the seminar "Ground and Space Operations," the third for 2025 in the series "Meetings with Companies" by the Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering program, will take place. Organized in collaboration with AIDAA and the Pisa branch of the EuroAvia student association, the seminar will feature experts from the companies LSE Space and SSC Space Italy, both of the Swedish Space Corporation group, and the Italian Argotech, as well as specialists from the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Italian Space Agency (ASI). The theme of the seminar, on-orbit operations and ground control in support of space missions, is at the intersection of several engineering disciplines (aerospace, electronics and telecommunications, astronomy, planetary defense, environmental monitoring, ...) and will be covered with reference to past and present space missions in which the speakers have been involved.
