Workshop “My career roadmap”

The School of Engineering, together with Manpower, organized the "My career roadmap" Workshop. The event aimed at all engineering students, especially master's students (and final year of the three-year degree program). VeneToStars 2025

La challenge VeneToStars mira a creare un laboratorio permanente di Open Innovation nella Regione del Veneto, coinvolgendo giovani europei di età compresa tra i 18 e i 25 anni.
L’edizione 2025 avrà come tema la Blue e Space Economy, con l’obiettivo di promuovere idee innovative che coniughino l’uso di tecnologie e dati spaziali per affrontare sfide globali quali la tutela degli ecosistemi marini, la gestione sostenibile delle risorse acquatiche e lo sviluppo di soluzioni innovative per l’economia blu e spaziale.
I giovani partecipanti da tutta Europa potranno presentare le loro proposte progettuali dal 13 febbraio al 20 aprile 2025, e i migliori 10 team saranno invitati a partecipare alle finali che si svolgeranno durante l’evento internazionale “Space Meetings Veneto”, che si terrà a Venezia dal 20 al 22 maggio 2025.
I finalisti avranno l’opportunità di incontrare investitori, utenti finali e stakeholder, nonché di presentare i loro progetti a una giuria composta da esperti di livello internazionale (l’Agenzia Spaziale Europea e l’Agenzia Spaziale Italiana sono patrocinanti e partner sin dalla prima edizione). Il team vincitore avrà l’opportunità di trascorrere una settimana in Veneto nel mese di giugno 2025, con un programma dedicato di incontri, coaching, formazione e attività di consulenza per l’avanzamento della loro idea e accelerare lo sviluppo del loro progetto.

Applications are now open for scholarships to participate in the Galileo Festival of Science and Innovation Academy Project, a unique opportunity for meeting, exchange, and training—scheduled to take place in Padua from Friday, May 9, to Sunday, May 11, 2025—open to students enrolled in bachelor's, master's, doctoral, and ITS programs at all Italian universities.

Since its inception, the Galileo Festival has aimed to foster dialogue between the worlds of scientific research and business. For this reason, it involves both international research institutions and product companies that stand out for their product and process innovation.

The Galileo Festival of Science and Innovation is promoted by NEM Nord-Est Multimedia, Il Mattino di Padova, and the Municipality of Padua, and curated by PostEventi.

Interested students may choose to submit their application for two different options:

• Option 1 | Guided tours + participation in the Galileo Festival: the Academy will take place from Thursday, May 8 to Sunday, May 11, for a total of 4 days/3 nights.

• Option 2 | Participation in the Galileo Festival: The Academy will take place from Friday, May 9, to Sunday, May 11, for a total of 3 days/2 nights.

A symposium entitled "The Impact of Drone Technology on Society: benefits and challenge" will be held on Oct. 15 and 16 at the Navacchio Technology Cluster. Details can be found at the following link.

The University of Pisa, within the CIRTEN Consortium, and in the frame of the ENEN# Project, is pleased to host the hybrid Career Event entitled "Working in the Nuclear Field: Experience and Opportunities - a Career Event."

Prof. Franco Persiani Memorial Award: applications open for the 6th edition

Ser.In.Ar., together with theItalian Association of Aeronautics and Astronautics (Emilia Romagna section) promotes the 6th edition of the Degree Award in memory of Prof. Franco Persiani, who passed away on October 30, 2015. This Prize has an amount of euro 3,000.00 and is intended for graduates of any Italian university who have discussed their master's thesis on the topic of "Innovation for the aeronautical sector" in the period from October 1, 2023 to the date of expiration of the call for proposals, set for July 31, 2024.
