2026 Caltech Space Challenge

The Caltech Space Challenge is a competition that dates back almost a decade and selects 32 of the best graduate students around the world to compete in the design of a daring space mission. The challenge will take place next March. More details can be found at this link.

CAIF 2025 SCHOLARSHIPS

The Italian Space Agency, in collaboration with the Cultural Association of Italians at Fermilab (CAIF), is supporting the training of Italian students and doctoral students at overseas poles of excellence through the publication of a call for applications for four scholarships for research activities at an American center or university on space-related topics of joint interest in the fields of Physics and Engineering.

Meetings with companies: SSC Space Italy and Argotec

On May 13 and 14, at the Aula magna "Dini" of the School of Engineering, the seminar "Ground and Space Operations," the third for 2025 in the series "Meetings with Companies" by the Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering program, will take place. Organized in collaboration with AIDAA and the Pisa branch of the EuroAvia student association, the seminar will feature experts from the companies LSE Space and SSC Space Italy, both of the Swedish Space Corporation group, and the Italian Argotech, as well as specialists from the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Italian Space Agency (ASI). The theme of the seminar, on-orbit operations and ground control in support of space missions, is at the intersection of several engineering disciplines (aerospace, electronics and telecommunications, astronomy, planetary defense, environmental monitoring, ...) and will be covered with reference to past and present space missions in which the speakers have been involved.
